14k GOLD FILLED JEWELLERY

DOES YOUR JEWELLERY CONTAIN NICKEL?
No, none of our items contain nickel at Hardy To Hudson.
WHY IS MY JEWELLERY TARNISHING?
All precious metals will tarnish with wear. The best way to avoid tarnishing is to not wear your jewellery in the shower or while working out, and keep it away from chemicals. It is the customer’s responsibility to clean their own jewellery. It is easy to remove light stains, tarnishing and fingerprints with a little bit of care.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELLERY?
Store your jewellery in a dry, air-tight area such as a pouch or box. Polish gently with a jewellery polishing cloth. When you order one of our designs we provide you with a small polishing cloth that you can give the silver and gold filled elements and chain a polish with to keep it in tip top condition. Take extra care around perspiration, saltwater, chlorine, perfume and lotions, as they can tarnish jewellery faster and damage and discolour the wood over time.
SKIN DISCOLOURATION FROM MY JEWELLERY?
Some people have sensitivities to different metals depending on their body chemistry and this can cause skin discolouration or it could also be a lotion that you are applying while wearing your jewellery.
